The Samish Heights development inside Samish Neighborhood is a premier area with high-end homes, elevated with bay and city views.
Samish is home to several parks, including Lake Padden Park, which offers opportunities for hiking, swimming, fishing, and golfing. Lake Padden Park is a 745-acre park with a lakeside trail, an off-leash dog park, and multi-purpose sports facilities, and Padden offers an award-winning 18-hole golf course.
Additionally, the neighborhood is located near Western Washington University and the Fairhaven shopping district, both of which offer cultural and entertainment opportunities.

Schools: The area is served by the Bellingham School District and includes several schools, such as Happy Valley Elementary School, Sehome High School, and Fairhaven Middle School. Samish is also home to the Lake Padden golf course.
